THEME

Why Christmas?

Within the interior market, the Christmas holiday season is an important period. However, Japan currently did not have a trade show specializing in Christmas. The majority of Christmas goods were imported from abroad then stocked in stores throughout Japan. Manufactures dealing in these seasonal goods raised voices of concern with order schedules placed in June and July not being met by the holiday season. To ensure merchandise during the Christmas sales period, orders for Christmas goods must be placed earlier in May. In order to improve this situation and stimulate the market as a whole through new business opportunities, BAtoMA held an exhibition in May dedicated solely to the Christmas season. BAtoMA proposes a new Christmas market within Japan— one of even greater excitement for the holiday.

INSTALLATION

THEME : The Dream Town of Christmas

H.P. France’s creative team “TOBIRA NO MUKOUGAWA” collaborated with the creative office “kloka” for a special installation. The fantastic Christmas town in diorama made heart fluttered as for adult, as for the child.
